Omg my dad sits on the computer all the time, hes seriously addicted. He will wake up and grab a coffee and sit there all day. He wont even eat because hes afraid if he leaves the computer something on his game will happen that he will miss so he waits for someone to get home to make him food or get him another coffee...The only time he actually gets off the computer is to use the bathroom or go for a smoke. It really pisses me off. My dad tells us all he isnt addicted and then when my uncle comes over or my grandparents come over he gets bitchy when they tell him to come visit. I really really hate when i come home and ask what he did all day and he lies straight to my face!!! Fuck!!

This is an incomplete list. In my opinion some of the top signs of computer addiction should be:

-Personal hygiene
-Lack of eating.
-Disassociation from real life acquaintances, friends, family, job, career, education.
-Only feelings of success that are satisfied in your life are online or gaming.
-Hiding out from everyone and anything that might stop you.
-Guilt
-Deeper involvement to avoid dealing with your addiction issues.
-Deep wishes to live inside the computer and not life in real life.

Yeah, I only have five (and only 3 work). So technically, I'm not even a beginner 'addict'. Heck, I might as well be called anti-addict.

I am surprised that they don't reference how many computers one has as evidence of addiction. At 11 PCs in my house, I would probably be classified as an addict.
